On November 13th, 2007 the Certified Heating Technician program will see it’s first students studying Module A - Common Core. This first offering of the CHT Module A program will be through BCIT and will include 6 weeks of technical and theoretical training. Response by industry has been impressive and more than 75 individuals have expressed interest in the program to date.

“We are thrilled with response from industry. Their interest and participation in the program will make it succeed and we look forward to monitoring the progress of the first set of students,” says Mary Anne Davidson, CEO of RCITO.

A second Module A class will be offered by BCIT in January 2008 with Module C & D for Hydronics and Forced Air being offered to students in early spring.
